CREDIT SEQUENCE - GUNPLAY

Freelance Project - January 2021

I had the opportunity to design and animate the credit sequence for the short film, “Gunplay.”

The goal was to create a credit sequence with an upbeat, pop-art/comic book style. I started by creating pop-art versions of the main characters, then designing the rest of the sequence

with the same style.

Here’s a peek into my process of creating a piece of the credit sequence for Gunplay.

I first sketched some basic ideas on my iPad, then created a storyboard in Photoshop. This is what I send to the team for tweaks and approvals before I start animating.

Once the boards are approved, I recreate most elements in After Effects, add details and end up tweaking the design slightly, as you can see.
